Halo: Reach helps wash away bad memories of ODST by delivering a polished compelling offline campaign with plenty of variety. Jetpacks, Falcon Gunships, and Space Combat portions help keep things fresh. Bungie’s multiplayer offers potentially hundreds of hours with an immense amount of control, content, and stat tracking to its online community. A perfect thank you to fans, but ultimately its unwillingness to take risks has it fall just short of being revolutionary as the first two Halo’s were.
